Morzine-Avoriaz

  • Morzine-Avoriaz is located in the Haute Savoie region of France, just 75 minutes from Geneva International Airport.
  • Morzine-Avoriaz is a busy ski village in the winter and a spectacular triathlon and cycling destination in the summer.
  • Home to the Avoriaz hill climb, a famous bike route that has featured in the Tour de France 7 times and will form part of our Olympic and Sprint Triathlon courses.
  • Avoriaz will host the Finish line and the Transition area from bike to run, in addition to the Tristars event.
  • Morzine-Avoriaz is a great village for a family holiday, especially if you love the outdoors!  Read more about Morzine here

Lac Montriond

  • Lake Montriond is located 2km from the centre of Montriond and a further 2km from the centre of Morzine
  • Lake Montriond is 1.4km long and 400 wide in some spots.
  • The lake is surrounded by a walking/running trail which also extends towards the village of Ardent.
  • Lake Montriond is a beautiful setting and must be seen to be believed.
  • Lake Montriond will host the swim leg of the Olympic, Sprint & Super Sprint Triathlons as well as the transitions area for the swim to bike transition.  The Super Sprint will take place around Lake Montriond in 2023 (tbc)
